Before you know it, the gay brigade will be expecting the players to gobble each other before kick-off, & the women's lib will insist that the men wear high heels & skirts. The women will continue to wear the trousers, of course.
As I said you can boo what you like and by that I mean without complaint from me, obviously you don't need my permision, nor do you seek it. The fact that the overwhelming majority at ER chose to support the club and the players in their actions speaks volumes. Most have actually listened/read the statement put out and I would have thought it's most likely they approve of the the stated aims. Personally I'm ambivalent to whats going on, by which I mean the manner of raising awareness rather than the actual aims which I wholly support. It will be interesting to see how things progress over the season but I definitely don't wish to boo my own team before kick off.
