Never heard anything like it in my life http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-buy-Bury-and-play-in-English-League-One.html
If i was a bury fan I would be pissed right off I read the article it said they would be playing there home games at ibrox.
Strange one. But I do think The New Rangers are missing a trick by nt trying to register with the English FA and starting from scratch. AFC Wimbledon have shown that its possible. In 10 years or so Rangers would be in the English Premier League laughing at Celtic stuck in the Spl
Sorry but i hope this does not come off. With Scotland wanting to govern themselves one wonders what Alex Salmond has to say about this. This idea should be consigned to the bin at the earliest chance by the ENGLISH F.A
Some rangers fan talked about it a few months ago when i met them... but i never thought they actually whould....
Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes and before that looked to move to Dublin. I can't remember the full details but I think the FA weren't too happy about the thought of playing in Ireland but weren't too concerned about moves within England. I'm surprised they haven't thought of this before.
It should be stopped by the FA right now before it gains any kind of momentum. As long as there is a Scottish league..thats where they should be. Having been to a testimonial game where Rangers were the visitors, I for one don't want there bigoted fans down here, let them stay where they belong. And while we're at it....Swansea, Cardiff. You have your own league as well.
Bigotry is a two way thing. I know lots of Rangers fans who are sound lads. Yes they have some twats among their support as most clubs do. You forgot to add Wrexham too,
I remember when we played Rangers at home in a testemonial match for Gary Bennet and there was trouble everywhere...So no thanks..
There was loads of bother mate, including a few Sunderland fans who were stabbed...I was forced to deck a Rangers fan outside of the Wheatsheaf who wouldn't take no for an answer when he was determined to have my Sunderland shirt as a souvenir. To be fair though some other Rangers fans who were there at the time shook my hands afterwards and wondered how I had been patient for so long with the guy, and I ended up sharing a few beers with them down the Howard Arms..
they will do if they can get promoted enough times... however its abit unfair to start them in that league if they need to releagate somone else
There is no way that any Scottish club should be allowed to play in any of the English Leagues;the FA need to stop this one now even if there may be something in it for FA committee members. No club should be relegated in order that this can happen.
I had beers ion the Gluepot Bar, (is that still open?), & saw nee bother. I did hear about it though.
