Watched the game on the net, and Rangers were lucky to get the win. Saying that, I've not seen Caley play ****e this season, and I've watched a good few games of theirs. They are playing much better than their position suggests. Anyways, surely it's time for the old "Winning when you are not playing well is a sign of champions" line to be spun?
Not that great either. We deserved the win, but wasn't easy. Maj's face was a horror one though, if you watch the replay, his face is a mess before he even hits the ground!
Celtic played fine , St Johnstone didn't test our goalie at all , we had 18 shots at goal with twelve on target . Not bad after a hard European game and Victor gets better with every game he plays regardless if he is defence or midfield . Stick on for player of the year if he continues with these displays.
Growing up, I clearly remember Rangers having terrible form going into OF games, Celtic playing them off the park, and Walter Smith still coming away with a win somehow. Not sure Super Sally is up to the same standard though...
Rangers will enjoy next Wednesday , they don't have to play football , they enjoy stopping the other team playing , with their 4-5-1 4 -6-0 system, we will have no space for Samaras and Forrest to use their pace . Remember the new year game 2 years back Celtic hammered Rangers for 80 mins and then about the only time they went over the half way line Mcculloch scored. Form going into an Old firm counts for nothing .
