http://www.qpr.co.uk Sounds like TF's dream manager is not coming and now Ramsey is the man. TF really does need to think before he Tweets
Great news, gives some stability and prevents yet another mid season change. He knows the squad and their capabilities. From his first two games it's obvious he is capable and deserves a stab at it. Let's hope we can gain enough points.
I hope Ramsey is given a fair crack of the whip without the spectre of being replaced in the summer whatever he achieves.
"We spoke to many individuals who were interested in the role, one of whom I was quoted on as being a dream, but none of them were right to take the club forward at this time for a variety of reasons, whereas we firmly believe Chris is." Fernandes
Good, glad he's got his chance. So Tony told us he had got his dream manager, but now tells us he wasn't right. It doesn't take a genius to work out it was Laudrup, and Tony jumped the gun!He should've been 100% sure about him before tweeting such a ludicrous statement. One can only hope he learns from this, and steers clear from social media sites for good! Good luck Chris.
Cheers pal, almost joined a few years ago but never got round to it,not enough time with work and family! My uncle was an avid member on here though, and loved all the banter between you guys.He used to tell me about Northolt,Roller,999's,Swords,Brixton and others, and I used to laugh my head off!Just for the record,he was known on here as Hammersmith hoopton, and he's sorely missed!
Hi Hammersmith Jnr, you are most welcome to join our board. I sincerely hope that you become a regular poster on here. Your Uncle was one of the finest posters that we've ever had on our forum. He is indeed sorely missed. I used to keep in regular contact with him especially when he stated that he lost his father-in-law following a game v Norwich. We had exchanged Personnel Messages that sadly waned. I now know and can understand why. I think it was a poster who went by the name of 'Sutton Ranger' who had the decency of posting and informing us that Hoopton had passed. Sad news. We had held a memorial day for BrixtonR in that year in the Crown and Sceptre PH where quite a few of our posters honoured the great man. I also announced a toast to 'Hoopton' in the garden of that pub even though we never knew who he was , he was one of us. I'm glad you're on here, and I hope you do your Uncle proud my friend. Hammersmith Hoopton was a great and proud member of our board who is very sadly missed. Nines
Thanks for your kind words 999's,they are much appreciated. Now I'm on here you won't be getting rid of me that easily, although work commitments make posting at times nigh on impossible!
That's completely understandable me old mate. You can post on here as much or as little as you can. We all have lives away from the R's and that should always come first. I and others on here will look forward to your contributions on here in the meantime. All the best Junior.
