Rafa talking about Chelsea. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17271855 He's sounding more and more English every time I here him haha. I admit I would hate to see Rafa at Chelsea, but the one thing Abramovich seems to want more than any thing else is a Champions League trophy, and Rafa's record in that department is undeniable.
If he goes to Chelsea then I wish him all the best, begrudgingly but I will still respect him as a manager. The man needs a job, it's testament to his ability that one of the most successful clubs in england in recent years want him, I just hope he rolls over for us like AVB & Ancellotti did.
Rafa can do very well if appointed as manager, but Roma Abramovich have to pump in the money to buy players that can win the European cup that he wants most.He will also have to give him time at least three years.
Rafa will fail. There isnt even a debate. The last time rafa was good was 2009. Its 2012 and hes only good for a comedy interview these days. Like Graham Taylor.
It's such a pity. In your former existence you were at least humorous on occassion. However, your present persona is just boring
Facts and truths are rarely humorous. You guys see him through tinted specs so its understandable you only see the good. However, the rest of the world sees a trainwreck. If chelsea go for this guy they will inish no highr than 5th, fail in europe and he will go on a rant embarrassing himself and his players.
Sorry UIR, I really shouldn't mock the afflicted. When you start to believe that you talk for "the rest of the world", it's time to take more medication.
Perhaps you should get out more and communicate with others. Rafa is a joke. As I said, its not up for debate. Debate would require a counter argument and Rafas history removes any chance of that happening.
Rafa's history stands comparison with many of the names that have been forwarded for the Chelsea job. It was interesting listening to his interview on Radio 5 last night that he denied that Chelsea made a formal offer but NOT that talks had taken place. Add to that the 'informed' opinion was that rafa could do a good job for them. The dissenting voices appear to come from the Chelsea crowd who are as probably as ill-informed as you appear to be.
Meh, I think the crunching of numbers has been done to death but H&G took a lot out of him. After 2007 I blame a few things for Rafa's demise ( except the 09 season): the biggest one is losing his right hand Pako, H&G coming in and strapping debt on the club and the lies, then Rafa focusing on fighting the good fight against the owners but lost sight of what was going on with the field. In his first three years with hardly any money to really spend and a team handed over to him he won the CL, FA, and got another CL final. League, that is another story, he could never quite get the league for some reason. UIR where you been at btw?
Im clearly not a wum. Just dont share the love for the moronic spanish waiter. He is entertaining and always god for a laugh tough. Bluff I have been on once or twice but not posted, been spending time with the girlfriend and working here and there.
Your points, achievements and awards seem to have shot up in your absence, change of username and mucho horas on GC?
I noticed that. I had an achievement when I came back. I think its due to the banter thread having over 200000 views and nearly 20000 replies now lol.
Rafa ought to leave some statements for his PR people to make. Saying all those things himself make him look too cheap. He cleverly omitted his record at Inter Milan though.
