'Resolute' was Sir Neil's description of our virus-ridden team performance at Goodison. Knowing us on here, we'll have an array of opinions of what our future holds from here on in.

I'm not about to lead the line on postmortems here and now.

Just a thread for those knackered from this summer's uncertainties and anticipating a long hard fight to stay up, tonight's the night guys...

    Respite!

A moment to put our feet up and watch the world go by - without a care in the world!

How do you feel with a solid away victory under our belts?

Feels great. What makes it even better is the fact it was off the back of a hammering at home - I honestly though we'd lose by 2-3+ goals today. Shows alot of character to perform like that the week after.

Even though it was only 1 game that we lost, I already started questioning where we'd be picking our points up from, but today has given me renewed confidence. Not going to get too carried away though - yet!

Never in doubt for me just got the scorer wrong I saw AF getting a rebound from a corner .TS goal was beautiful watch it again and the play before it was simply good football i know the feeling before that was nervous but our confidence will grow as will the players lets get behind them even if we slip up at Wigan ... that will be a hard game

I didn’t watch any of the streams, so I can’t comment on the performance, yet. As for how I feel, it would be a combination of the following.

Drained – I watched Soccer Saturday. Le Tissier said we were under pressure every time they went to him. I always think that the experts are hoping we lose, but that is probably paranoia.

Proud – How could any R feel otherwise.

    Slightly Emotional – See above

Elated – A win at Goodison Park, we are back.

Pleased – for Tommy. He is a great pro and will now get some well deserved headlines.

Proud (again) – It must have been the most incredible battling performance. Our “non-star” players must have worked their socks off.

Hopeful – If we can win at Everton, why shouldn’t we be able to stay up?

    Thirsty – I need a beer.

That is enough emotion for a bloke! <cheers>

watched every second online and tip is not to watch the pundits as remember they have to say something. We were written off by them all last week as well. I expect a mellow response this coming week on talk sport etc ... but they can't have it both ways ... Last week was no 4-0 never never never. Looking forward to them saying how well we responded from a 4-0 nil defeat to win away ... Credit given when credit is due. I have already heard some rubbish from them online now just smile and rise above

After hearing that the squad was riddled with virus, & Dave up front, I have to confess I was fearing the worst. All credit to Sir Neil & the boys for pulling the proverbial rabbit out of the hat!

As Brixton said, respite, but to that I would also add respect!

Rolly, I watched it on Setanta, where the commentary is usually ****e! However, after a string of probably ten consecutive QPR passes, each of which were cheered on by the travelling Rs, the commentator paid a compliment to the travelling fans. Well done Setanta, but a bigger well done to the Rs who made the trip and roared on! <applause>

I find the juddering on the streaming too painful to watch, especially if we are under pressure.

I'm surprised we managed 10 consecutive passes after what I saw ball retention wise last Saturday. Hopefully they have been working on that, as we did identify ball retention as a major requirement after the pre-season friendlies.

We looked a proper team today and not out of place in this division with some of the passing moves we put
    together.

Last week during the first half against Bolton i was saying to myself "whats all the fuzz about?", then we got hammered and i had no idea where we stood. It's been a long week until thursday when the mood was back on the rise. But having watched the lads put in a brave performance today, both in defending and ball retention, i have renewed hope for the future. Spoke to a Liverpool friend of mine who was ever so impressed by Shaun Derry, he didn't expect Derry to be such a good ball player in the way he used it when he got it. Spread it around always looking for a pass instead of hoofing it long.

Took me some time last year getting used to winning, have to find the right approach for this year, still don't know what to expect...

Tonight's the time to put our feet up as you say Brixton and just relax, COYR's!

Time to watch the game again as it's on the Premier League channel now, without the nerves :emoticon-0100-smile

Corker - Yeah, I loved that bit, do you know who the co-commentator was? I recognised his voice. There was a good 30 seconds or so there, with the fans cheering every pass by our sponsorship-free orange-shirted team where it was like watching Holland play at their best. Shame it didn't feature in the MOTD highlights, I had goose bumps.

Brilliant - 3 unexpected bonus points, Derry shaping up as this year's Charlie Adams (shame for him and us he's not the same age), on track for 12 points from the first 8 games which I think will give is a fighting chance

Our season started when we got the Fernandes news. Ignore the 4 - 0 loss. It's all about what happens from now on.
