    He has the benefit now of winning the Olympics and the US Open. He made a comment early on in his career which will continue to haunt him, but when he won the Olympics he was proud to play for GB.

    My cousin has managed to get himself on Murray's mount today imagin that queuing for ages then to sit on a grass hump in this heat till 2pm just for it to start. If it goes on for a few hours they are going to be some pissed dehydrated sun stroked loons today.

    And how many England fans say anyone but Scotland or Wales or Ireland? If you support one of the home Nations outside of England then England are usually your least favoured team it's a fact from history that is unlikely to change.

    Murray won the first set and has come back from 4-1 down in the second set to lead 6-5 and serving for the second set

    Northern Ireland fans ... In general that isn't right. The only team more popular among the GWA than England is Northern Ireland. Not unusual to see large groups from the Belfast supporters club supporting England at tournaments.
