    Hello guys and girls,

Just giving you all a quick hello from a fellow Norwich fan :)

Was a long term reader/lurker on 606 but never made an account or posted so thought I'd take the plunge as they shut their doors today.

Moving onto the interesting side of things..

Who would you like to see Norwich sign this summer to stay up?

    I'd personally like,

Dani and Lansbury back on loan again

    Perm signings:

    CMS (Peterborough)
    McGugan (Forest)
    McGregor (Rangers) or Westwood (Coventry)
Cranie (Coventry) - 'Cause he is my mate and will get me lots of free things lol...oh and hes top draw, soz Martin ha

I think we need a new CB as well, more competition and experience. Can't really think of many which would be ideal but with J.Evans being well down the pecking order at United and Fergie saying he may loan him out to get his confidence back, possibly an additional loan signing if one of the other two fails?

    ;-)

Hello and welcome, all Canary fans more than welcome here <ok>

I would like to see a keeper to push Ruddy for his place but not sure which one. Westwood is a decent call though.
A few defenders, all positions, just to keep the fight for places again.

The rest of the team I think can 'hold their own' for the 1st season, after that it might be a different story.

  3. can't disagree with any of those except Cranie, sorry but he's average. McGugan seems to be a wanted man in the Premier League but if anyone could persuade him then PL is the man.

Cranie was a joke mate as he is a friend.

I do think defence needs the most strengthening out of all areas though. Struggling to think of decent signings though unless PL pulled off a double Brum miracle of Dann and Johnson ;-)

Like you Irdan I've been a long time lingerer on 606 without making many posts!
I like your choices- glad u've gone for some realistic targets! I'd also be very pleased with GK Forster (Newcastle), CB Gabbidon (West Ham), RB/CB Spector (West Ham), AMF Lansbury (Arsenal Loan), RMF Kightly (Wolves).
I'm not sure about the wages of the West Ham players and I know they lost relegation fight this year, but they have experience of staying up in the prem which would be handy! I wld hate to see Forster sitting on the bench next year, wld be such a waste of a quality player!

Ex players are so not the way forwards. More likely to bite you on the arse than prove an 'astute move' imo.

Shouldn't fuss too much about all that old bollux, Cromer. I've never fathomed it - seems to change as and when your post count rises.

Seems an ok site though, most of the Ippos are here if banter's your thing, and a good few die hard Canaries.

I have to say, I don't fancy Green either, I think he's passed his best and would probably want stupid money.

    The left hand margin crap...

Posts: Should be self explanatory! The number of posts you've made.
Points: You are awarded points (AKA experience points) for a variety of things, posting, new threads, posting tags, people rating your threads, etc, the full list, if you're interested, is here.
Level: As your points go up, you go up levels, I don't think it means much really.
Rep: The Sherriffs badge opens up the Rep menu, with the idea being you can leave praise or condemnation, depending on your opinion. Its completely anonymous, so you can get a right mouthful off of people. Its a bit odd in that occasionally you'll have to 'spread it around' first. You can see any rep people have left for you http://www.not606.com/usercp.php. You're rep power is the amount of "Rep Points" you can add or deduct from a user. It goes up by 1 per 1000 posts you make, and 1 per every 100 "Rep Points".

The achievements are just logos that mean you've completed a certain thing, like a number of posts, amount of experience points, activity, made a certain type of post, etc, they seem pretty meaningless to me.

    Hope that helps!

Yeah I don't want Green back and I definitely don't like the idea of Bentley coming back.

I want the cream of the Championship and possibly a few from the SPL. Wouldn't mind McGregor from Rangers may be a bit expensive though, who would you choose from Westwood and Forster? I think Westwood is out of contract?! Also from the SPL wouldn't mind Goodwillie (sp?) if CMS goes elsewhere. Don't fancy Morrison..not for 3m!

Really am struggling for defenders though, where we need most strengthening IMO, Gabbidon would be a good shout though. Speaking of raiding West Ham..if McGugan goes elsewhere..what about Noble?

Robert Green - who wants a keeper that can not stop a penalty?

Noble would be a great signing if we could pull it off! Or Reo-Coker now he's a free-agent?! Does anyone know if any mid-table teams are chasing him?!

Kyle Naughton would be another Defender worth thinking about, altho I wouldn't want to see Martin lose his place at RB after last season!

Puncheon and Fleck would be a real threat from midfield, and both are young and hungry! Like ur thinking Kent!

Never seen Fleck play, heard good things and he is a perfect FM loan signings ;-)

Puncheon would be a decent call too, me and the old man fancied Vaughan but seems he is off to Sunderland or Rangers. Shame..

Westwood is a good shout. Maynard would be good too. I'd like Bennett as well, gives us another option.
