When asked about the season ticket hikes Bernie replied 'Well that's why they all sold then' a smug retort that tells you he really doesn't give a toss about us fans. We are quite simply sleepwalking to a humiliating season that really will be hard to take after the bold promises of Champions League football in 4 years when the Goons first arrived.

The questions that need to be asked are:

When did the Champions League target get revised to Premier League for one season?

Why are they taking this course of action? Business wise it doesn't make sense

How can they hope to sell a club in turmoil and decline?

The really worrying question is when they do depart will our club be like other disaster clubs of the past few years and freefall through the divisions faster than we rose?

Sooperhoop, it is your second (and therefore third) questions which I really don't understand. These guys may not be football people, but there are businessmen and are not stupid.

I have argued before that they are trying to re-coup some of their investment, but surely the club is worth far more as a Premier League team? It is this that gives me faint hope that there is something happening hidden from us.

I just can't fathom their attitude Roller, an outlay of £10-15 million and not selling Taarabt would give us a decent chance of establishing ourselves and increasing the value of their investment if they aren't selling now. We seem to be in limbo which would suggest something is happening behind the scenes but time is of the essence, if left much longer the team will be on a hiding to nothing.

I agree with the outlay, but as for Taarabt, there probably isn't too much they can do. A sulky Taarabt would not be worth playing as we all well know.

If something is going on, you can bet your bottom dollar it wont happen until August 31st, just like when they arrived. At least then we will be able to take the coming relegation with hope of a quick return.

Can we get the Dictatorship-loving crowd on here now to try explain how their beloved Goons are really trying to do what's right for the Club?

C'mon lads you know who you are. We could do with a good laugh
