Question

    We have a 50% sell on clause for Fabregas.

    What if WE buy Fabregas, for say £40m. Barca would have to give us £20m... making him cheaper than before.

    True, but he has a €150 buy out clause in his contract, so even with our 50% 'discount' he'd still cost us €75m

    Can't see him coming back unless Barcelona go in to financial meltdown, but even then most of their players will take pay cuts to stay because they all love the club.

    If Barcelona crapped out, I'm confident that Cesc would return to Arsenal.

    I think we should start tappiing him up now!

    Saying how much everyone here loves him, and how much hes missed
    then force him into an arsenal shirt etc etc

    I think Mr Enigma's got it

    We could get city to tap him up. They buy Cesc for a horrendous sum of money to which we are entitled to a small fortune. If Arsene can be persuaded to spend, we could buy quite a lot of talent for 75mil.
