Anyone think QPR already got a better squad than us ? and an already resaleable better squad than ours ? I was just ponderin of what scfc mite have in store for us in terms of signings this transfer window ??? Thoughts ?
It must also be nice to have a Chairman who is willing to throw money around like it does'nt exsist? Sure they have made some decent signings but! They did that last season and stayed up by the skin of their teeth... So long as Pulis buys well, I don't give a monkeys about QPR and we'll see IF that squad they have assembled will gel. Seem's like they have bought in almost a new team to me. IF TP does not BUY and BUY the right player's we're shafted IMHO... to keep both Mama and Delap is laughable.
Hi Potts; We did have a chairman who WAS prepared to thow his money round - he's just not prepared to do it anymore - an personally I dont blame him. In relation to QPR spending in the way they are, they have picked up some bargins - Hoilett being 1. Got on a free and on 60k a week, seems like value to me. Whether squad gels or not, time will tell - but Hughes was doing pretty well at Man City when he was sacked. He bought a lot of players and they were in 5th (ish) when they fooked him off so I have no doubt that with a good pre season they will be more than competitive this term. Its a good job Swansea and Norwich lost their managers becasue that will hopefully set them back a bit. West Ham will be fine and I think Reading will hold their own - I hoping Southampton will struggle - its going to be a hard slogg! On the plus side I saw a quote from DK on our new signing Cameron! Something along the likes of him being a "big strong lad" wo although a CD by trade can play "LB, RB, CM and upfront"! I honestly think they believe their own sh1t3!
Smither's That's what I meant when I mentioned the QPR Chariman?? Coates "And I do not blame him" will NOT just throw good money after bad. I.e. the maj of the signings Pulis has made. I see us really struggleing this season UNLESS we find at least 3 more very good player's and we all know what's needed.
