A major concern of mine, was as I looked north as I walked east on Shepherds Bush Green Wetherspoons* is that someone famous had their offices above a non descript premises stake holding ( Near McDonalds.) I can't remember who it was?

    * £2.19 a pint!

So why didn't he make the subs earlier if he could see we were getting complacent ? Also it's his job to tell the ****ers at half time, whatever you do don't take your foot off the gas 2nd half ! I'm sorry but his motivational talks just ain't cutting it, players were so laxidazical 2nd half it was untrue. What has happened to Dickie, he's turned into a carthorse since the turn of the year after starting the season like Beckenbauer. Something isn't right at the moment and I suggest giving the armband to Dunne cos there was a real lack of leadership after they equalised.

Yes, possibly the final nail in the coffin.
Marshall, apart from some reflex saves, is really rather poor. Lumley like even.

Leadership? We haven’t had an out-and-out leader on the pitch for a while now. I did think Johansen would fill that roll with his experience and mentality - he hasn’t been awful but no-one else stands out as a real leader on the pitch for us.
We do have a lot of talent in the team, which makes the results for Feb ‘til now really hard to take after such a good season until then. Hard to understand why it’s gone to pot tbh. As Beth regularly says, we don’t know what is going on between games - but it ain’t good.
Marshal! Blimey he makes some good saves to be fair. He’s had a couple of howlers too - costly howlers. The ‘keepers life can be an unjust one. I find it hard to beat him up, our defence/team allow oppositions far too many goal opportunities - law of averages (seems to only apply to the opposition, not us) says something is going to get through in the end.
All-in-all? Started on leadership and ended up moaning. F***ed right off with the result.

My insider info tells me Dickie is very much a vocal leader behind the scenes.

Think the team chemistry has been put out of sync.

We were doing great whilst Chair was away and have not been the same since.

For me the biggest/most likely disruption though is the signing and inclusion every game of Hendrick. A player that we really didn't need and added nothing to the squad that we didn't already have.

Amos and Dozzell (and to a lesser extent Thomas ) had played significant parts in our form/season up until this point and yet all find themselves pushed to the bench or even out of the squad due to Hendricks inclusion.

Can't be great for morale or team unity which seemed to be great up to this point.

( Won't even talk about poor old Dom Balls exclusions ).

    Just my opinion.

Cardiff were so terrible I was expecting a very comfortable win. We threw that game away and I don’t think they could believe their luck. Horrible day.

Fine margins. We've had a few games this season where we've nicked it when it looked like we wouldn't.

We 'd have money to spend if we got to the PL. The challenge would be doing it moderately and wisely so we can challenge again for a new promotion after a fairly likely relegation.

Then our defence/defensive midfield should be much more rock solid than it is.

I think Hendrick has been good. He is an accurate and quick passer in midfield, was just what we needed and we'd have been well screwed yesterday without him and Johansen. He also plays great long balls, one diag too Chair out left free on their goal line was superb, must have been all of 60 meters. As too often Chair dithered and another opportunity was lost. Dozzell has that passing game too but otherwise he doesnt look quite ready for the Champ. Promotion battle which we are still in. Amos is better used further forward imo more in Chair's position, and I won't be surprised to see him play instead of Chair. He came on and scored from that sort of position against Blackpool and nearly did again yesterday, just short of a Dunne knock down at the death. Ball is back up for Field.

My 3 year-old grandson came to the game yesterday (his first game). He seemed to enjoy the first half, but wanted to go home at half-time. He then spent most of the second half playing games on his Mum's phone. An accurate reflection of our performance.

I'm not saying that Hendrick isn't a neat player. Just think him playing automatically every game has upset the squad mentality. How can it not effect the morale of Amos particularly?

Oh, and Johansson wasn't even in the squad yesterday.

Just his niggly horrible style that really just irritates the fu*k out of me, he’s little sly foot left in here and there, his elbows in jumps etc, you can see that he sets out to wind players up when he’s actually good enough to at this level to let his football do the talking.

Their free kick was good but the wall if set up by Marshall was a shambles, I said to my mate look at the right side of wall a massive gap & that’s exactly where it went

    We said that too.
We are directly in line with the kick...and said was going to be a goal before it was kicked.

There was a clear gap to left of the wall for a left footed in swinger ( I think we were gambling they had noone who could do that) and still the wall was a man too short to the right... The gap was huge...and there was a lot of cardiff activities going on in and around that space...and we did not concentrate

Saying all that the kick was perfect into top corner
