Good to see some fight at least...against a worse team we would have got a point this evening.

Great game - wrong result, but really gave it a go. Olly continuing to experiment, and bodes well for 2017/18

First win since '57 (corrected). Bit of fight after the substitutions,
Diificult Ro see Brighton not going up now, particularly with their run in

    Good chairman too.

Still, hope they bottle it but they won't.

Brighton are a team who know how to win, and in this league that is all you need.

Mmm....................We looked a different team when Freeman came on and we went 4-3-3. More wholesale changes and a third defeat in a row. Anyone see a connection?
I like Luongo and Freeman for their endeavour, but I'm not convinced that they have any real quality on the ball. Cilla's first touch is like a pass and Smith, whilst good in the air, is a complete and utter donkey, as is Lynch, who just hoicks the ball back to the opposition time after time.
I like Robinson and I hope he stays fit.
Morrison looked overweight and did very little, although his first touch and passing looked a class above most of his team mates.
Perch is awful and Ned made another mistake that led to a goal. Washington looks like he's lost all confidence again and Yeni doesn't really look up to it.
Hall is a decent enough player.
Without a lot of summer transfer activity I fear we will be in much the same position come next April.

When Onuoha is centre-half you've always got a chance. The first goal was very similar and crap like the one at Villa. Captain fantastic.

Played well for about 10 minutes, but didn't take the chances we made then to equalise.

yeah, a draw aside from a free-kick no one was going to stop. A few chances at the end if we could shoot properly, freeman looked very good when he came on. Brighton had it all to play for, are a very good side and we did OK. I wouldn't be replacing freeman with ravel any time soon though.

But before that mistake he had played really well.

Kind of the problem though when your 30-year-old captain regularly makes rookie errors.

Listening to Ollie, I think he's completely deluded. I hope he proves me wrong.
