Just seen the highlights- still cannot see anything wrong with either goal disallowed. The ref was a joke. Hoilett & NML again outstanding. Not happening for Zahore but he still is irreplaceable. Apart from the error for their goal and leading to their shot onto the post, Bamba & Morrison solid. Onwards & upwards
Proper Championship game. We should have won it by a street but it was a pleasure to watch both teams having a go. Just looking at the other results, I see Wolves played Brentford off the park with their superior skills. The other results couldn't have been better for us. Fancied clubs such as Middlesbrough, Derby, Norwich, Sunderland etc either got well beaten or at least dropped points they shouldn't have taken. Very early days but can't see anything (apart from injuries etc) to stop us finishing at the very least top 6.
Their goal was a bad mistake by our keeper. Morrison made a terrible error and they hit the post. Other than that they were no threat. 2 goals disallowed. Unlucky a couple of times. Some good saves by their keeper. Thought we were different class to them. Don't think they will be the relegation candidates some predicted though.
Just seen the disallowed goals. I don't think there's much wrong with the 1st. The 2nd is a shocking decision. Lucky it didn't cost us.
Yes, just watched the vid myself. Difficult to know in real time whether the ref was right or wrong but after replaying the disallowed goals about half a dozen times, WTF was wrong with them.
a very good performance today - front three yet again proving too good for teams at this level. we clearly should have won by at least three goals but its three points all the same. although i think zohore will want to complete the season for us, i expect bids to come from PL teams in january. not seen it said anywhere but bamba made a number of defensive errors, some of which he made up for, but some which will get punished on another day. we shouldnt get too carried away, but its difficult not to with some of the players we have playing for us at the moment. what a turnaround this is from a year ago.....
I only saw the 2nd half last night, will watch the full game as soon as it's available. From what I saw (no commentary or replays)on iFollow. Hoillets goal looked fine, no idea why it was disallowed. The ref looked out of his depth.
The point is that he would be completely out of his depth if we got promoted - and his errors will be punished by more capable championship teams. He often makes up for errors but morrison next to him is a much better player as he's more reliable.
It's all about opinions. Have to say I disagree with everything You say in this case. Particularly as Morrison made a big error where they almost scored. Bamba was close to man of the match in my opinion.
I saw Bamba at close quarters at Leeds. He has many good qualities, however he's also prone to more mistakes than you can accept in the Prem. you would need to replace imho but he could be a part of the squad that got you there. Maybe he could do a squad role in the prem but not first choice I liked the guys passion too btw Imho as I say
