Qpr had the record attendance outside a television shop in birmingham watching highlights after we beat them 4-1 in first leg of semi-final of league cup, that was a magic night

We were the first team from the 3rd tier of divisions ( lowest position ever) to win the league cup.

There probably was 10,000 Leeds supporters their as was the unofficial attendance was probably over 40,000, I was there and witnessed hundreds of both QPR and Leeds fans jumping over walls and running through turnstiles to get in, I paid by the way.

I was in the Loft to the left of the goal looking from behind it and my abiding memories are not being able to breathe properly for nearly two hours and fighting my way to the surface and gulping air to survive also being carried around by the swaying mob without my feet touching the ground, great day apart from the result.

Flan, was that the Leeds game where we were one down and awarded a penalty but no one wanted to take it? Bobby Keetch grabbed the ball and almost put in in the school and we lost.

Also used Stamford Bridge as a home venue for a match against Everton back in early 1900s

    LOFTUS ROAD

The ground was first used on 22 October 1904 by Shepherds Bush FC, an amateur side that disbanded during the First World War. Q.P.R. movedto Loftus Road in 1917, having had their ground at Park royal commandeered by the army in 1915. At that time the ground was an open field with a pavilion. One stand from Park Royal was dismantled and re-erected forming the Ellerslie Road stand in 1919. This stand remained as the only covered seating in the ground until 1968 and was replaced in 1972. It had a capacity of 2,950!

To be honest I can't recolect that at all and because it was so packed I really can't remember much about the game even when they scored I missed it. The best thing about that game was being alive after it :)

QPR have had the most home grounds of any football club currently in the league.

We moved back n forth to White City stadium several times. The total number is 16.

Finally settling at Loftus Road for the third time in 1963.

Didn't England play a match once with 5 QPR players in the starting 11??

Gerry Francis (captain), Ian Gillard, Dave Clement, Dave Thomas and Phil Parkes. Were they the 5?

In the 1920s, QPR did not enter the FA Cup one year, because they forgot to send in their application form.
