Holding on the phone for 10 mins despite being 'caller no 1' I finally get through to the poor sod at the other end -

Me 'Can I please give you some hard earned money in exchange for a QPR Membership?'

Him 'No'

Me 'Why not, I'm a proper fan and even have Pellicori on the back of my shirt'

Him 'We're not selling them yet'

Me 'Can you tell me when you will be?'

Him 'No'

Ok I think, butter him up, try some of the old charm and try this instead -

Me 'Can I get one of those away season tickets'

Him 'Do you have a Loftus Road Season Ticket'

Me 'No I live in Sheffield but would like an Away Season Ticket to go to the away games'

Him 'No, only available to ST holders'

Hmm this isn't going well, so change tack -

Me 'Can I buy an Everton ticket yet?'

Him ' Are you a QPR membership holder?'

Me 'No you won't sell me one'

Him 'They're aren't available yet but you need to be a member to get in early'

Me 'Can I buy anything?'

Him 'Try the club shop'

You should have asked for his name and No; then made a complaint to the two rich leaders!
