Cest must be some bully, chased you without even being here. You can contribute just add Cest or anyone else you dont agree with to your ignore list. Me incuded because we are all equal on here.
Some of us have jobs as well syd so no posting or very little during the week. I reckon it's all down to our poor (not sure it's all bad yet) start to the season. The BOB BIB arguments may have something to do with it as a lot of people have just binned it for one reason or another. The main reason I think is no matches for a week and nothing to talk about or bitch about so very little thread starting.
Sorry you have decided to leave, GardenCity. No need really. We all post what we think on here - we all think we are right (even tho I know I'm the only one with anything really worth saying). Stand by your guns, but always be prepared to accept if you are wrong. Never happened to me mind. x
Haway man Chats, there is nothing wrong with giving out to Chappaz. I give it to him when he comes on here spouting (I don't swear at him or call him names as he does to me) I just rip his logic to bits and take the piss out his pontificating pompous style. I would not do this if the basic premis of ALL his posts is Sunderland are ****, Newcastle are great.
shut up bobby, you are never right, never. Its just your manly sex appeal that keeps you on here. Anyway, why wont you be around, you cant jut take two days off.
Work. If I told you more they would realise how much time I spend on here when I'm supposed to be making money. Mind you, I win the Euromillions tonight, some peeps on here need never be anywhere else again! x P.S. I know I'm always right. My mam used to tell me. x
I hate it when we have a great thread going about SAFC and it gets infested by the usual scum offenders, in particular, Chappar$e, 5-1, the trolling turd etc. So I usually tell them to F.O. and move onto another thread or log off. Its a shame that we cannot have threads that are for SAFC fans only - but also still have other "open" threads, and it would be up to the poster to decide. Just a daft Bart thought. Bart
I'm working 14 hour days at the minute, sat at a ****ing desk staring at a screen until the CAD lines all blur and I think I'm going blind, don't really have a lot of time for much contributing at the minute, like a lot I'll still read rather than chip in. I think the mag boards have a decent proportion of kids (students etc.) and those that maybe ain't working at the minute so they've got the time to be on here all night and into the early morning and keep the flow of the board going, as much as I'd like to be here I just can't do it. Also the amount of mags infesting here at the moment kinda kills the flow of a thread, I know Cest and others create fishing threads for a laugh and that's cool for me, it keeps them confined in one thread, it's when the ****ers spout their **** across every thread that gets me, but not a lot that can be done about that.
Tight for time on any day to comment but when Chap etc infest the threads going on & on I'm afraid I end up logging off. A business to run, children to raise & the good lady to keep onside!
As they say Comm me old mate, if it's got wheels why not run with it. Wouldn't be to hard to set up a membership in a sub-forum with rules to exclude.
Maybe Syd and Mick will look into it... We could easy do threads with headings SAFC only, and then remove others (something that seems a bit extreme to me). Only problem with that is when people start quoting others is has a knock-on effect, as you can remove the original quote, but if some-one has quoted on it, do you remove their post aswell? If you know what i mean.. Still gotta be a solution some-where. Sick off losing posters now for one reason or another.
There lies the problem with an open forum having censorship which I don’t support unless it gets into race etc. Likewise when you put someone on the ignore list it makes it hard to follow a thread if it’s been high jacked by those not just content to wum but arguing EVERY point against SAFC which invariably seems to be with a Newcastle slant. To be fair time is tight for most without wasting it scrolling through threads with nothing but fighting this way & that which is probably why quite a few log off for extended periods. I’m sure that quite a few would enjoy a section which is more “In-House” for SAFC but time will only tell once more comment when they wake up in a few hours!
Just a personal view but I think we may be making the problem of Newcastle fans bigger than it is. I think we had a problem with 2 posters, Chaps and Trolling with both seeming to be on every thread, both have now slowed down with the transfer window behind us, the derby gon for now and the season about to start proper. Most, I would say the majority get no visits from other fans and some by their nature invite other fans. Most Newcastle fans who comment, IMO, make vauable contributions. We did have a lot of Newcastle visitors and it put me off but I think its slowing down so making major changes seems OTT to me. Like I say, just my opinion.
