Today was clinical,Bolton are without doubt the worst side to visit the gate.We punished them with a excellent all round performace. The difference being four prem players were on the pitch,Tomlin,Ode a different class,Baker a rock,and our new right back doing a fantastic job. This in turn has improved our other players in the drive for staying in the championship. LJ has made a huge huge difference to our play,his subs have been spot on. Regards next season,Tomlin,Baker must be signed if at all possible,both doing a fantastic job.Ode looks quality,subject to seeing him for a few more games,these are the sort of guys we need to make a impression in this league. SL must get these boys signed up,they are doing a fantastic job here. Top six is fine,but we need the qualiy here to do it. Sign these guys up Mr L,they would do a fantastic job for us, and take the club forward.
Feel for Bolton though, can see them dropping away like Portsmouth and Blackpool. Their fans were good today tbf
Their was some young lads about 12 in number kicked out of the tobacco factory ,counted three riot vans and about 20 coppers following them around.They then tried going in the hen and chicken they were chucked out of there. Started walking back down to the gate giving it large. Good job is was early,we were just going for a pre match meal,so followed them up through Bedminster. Thought their fans were good first half,second half many left and they went quiet. Poor poor side.
I was in the Atteo stand next to the Bolton fans. Most of them were amazingly good natured considering. One fan threw his Bolton shirt at their players as they went down the tunnel. A steward tried to give it back but he threw it again. Despite being pleased with the win I feel for their fans.
I agree - Tomlin caused them loads of problems. He still looks like a pub league player though!!!! Tom Tum..... Love him though ......
