    Remind me again, what exactly has Puncheon done wrong?

    Please could someone point me to the comments he's made openly slagging off the club?

    I don't doubt there have been some issues with him, which the club has dealt with internally in the right way. On the face of it, Puncheon got on with his life at Millwall & Blackpool last season after being told he wasn't part of the first team plans. Much the same this season, training with the reserves, playing a few friendlies and has now gone on loan to a Premier League club.

    So really, is it worth all the "hate" that some people send is way?

    I've never borne JP any hate, CBK, but I remember last season when Adkins was asked in an interview about the possibility of him being recalled from Blackpool to cover for injuries to Lallana etc., and Nigel simply gave a very stern "No".

    None of us will ever know the full story, but there must be reasons why someone as apparently approachable as Adkins should take such a firm stance against a particular player. He must have been some sort of disruptive influence at the least, I would guess, so it is in everyone's interests that he has gone, even only temporarily.

    Well it's better than nothing I suppose. I was hoping he would join permanently so hopefully he'll do well there and they'll sign him in January for a nice fee.

    I have no qualms about him going, its in everyones best interests. Also glad he's gone to a Prem club, so at least we don't face the often embarrassing situation of him playing against us in the league and some of our dimwit fans going over the top booing him (which nearly always leads to them playing well against us.... Kevin Phillips as an example)
