Shocked you all hate Pullis. I always thought you stoke fans loved the long ball/long throw in rugby tactics. To be honest I couldnt watch it, its just awful. But I always thought stoke fans loved it.

Heard a west ham fan on the radio the other day. He hated big sam (like they all do at west ham) because they said we aint ever gonna win the champions league so we wanna play some nice stuf and have a go. Not playing crap long ball football and not be entertained. I felt he would get abused on most internet forums but in reality he is spot on.

Is this why you are all so pissed with TP or do you not mind the football you play?

    Arsenal fan in peace obviously.

    Arsenal,
When we were first promoted, TP did a great job in keeping us in the Prem - we probably thought we would only last the one season.
However he has spent (gross) over £90m in 4 years and constantly says that we are looking to evolve (originally it was a 3 year plan) - now it seems that you need 5 or 6 years to consolidate.
The point is that we actually have players who are comfortable on the ball and certainly could survive mid table playing a damn sight more attractive football - problem is TP will not pick anyone who shows any flair, or who dares to question his authoritarian methods.
A lot of Stoke fans are sick and tired of his negativity and his constant carping about "not being able to compete" against top sides - clearly Brendan Rodgers has not heard that?
All's that we ask is that we stay in the league with reasonable safety, have the odd cup run, but play some football - we have got the players to do that!

    Fellas ... take a breather !
We go to Chelsea ... with 11 on the park ?
2 banks of 4 and Jones and Fuller up top ?
now we frustrate them and keep them quiet and after 60 we bring on staff to maybe get more from the game ?
BUT and its a big BUT .. our Ric decides to fuk up the whole game plan ..
We were more than comfortable all game ..
So if we come away from Chelsea with a point .. is it still so bad is it fuk ... teams run there nuts off for a result like that ..
Im sorry but our RIC was a complete dick and let us down !
    NOT PULIS

    Arsenal for life
I think? most of my views are similar to those above.. I do NOT like the way Pulis set's up away from home. It's boring a hell no attack minded intent from him verbally nor with his selections.
Swervy you have more or less said it all.. I'm saying the same thing, have done all season regarding our away form.

    Arsenal
NOW? he's fallen out with Pennant(but Pulis denies anything is wrong between them) so HOW can any Stoke fans say.. that team yesterday was OK?

    Diao for Palacios?
    Jones for Crouch?
No out and out wide men? OK reports Ether's was ill, that beat being injured but Pennant was where exactly? This is why I too am still hacked off over yesterday.

Strange fact is that... whenever we get the big teams at our place and, I include Arsenal here. We actually do "have a right go" so we're NOT expected to win away, we nearly always lose. Our away record is terrible until this season at least it was, so what's there too lose by picking an attacking team? Nothing in my eyes. I don't care how good our defenders are, you simply can not try and DEFEND for 90 odd mins and HOPE for a pt, for me that is a Pulis tacktic, always has been.

Sorry but I heard the commentary and Fuller was out on the right with Walters on the left.. BUT where we're Ether's and Pennant? Had we attacked Chelsea I'm sure we may have got something from the game.
