You would think the best scenario for Man City would be to try and be 3-0 by HT to send a message to United 'Don't even bother'. But I suspect Stoke will beat Bolton as like any club playing their last game of the season at home they will want to win.
I'm sure Stoke won't be pulling their punches, but I still fancy Bolton to win. All season I've felt that they are better than their league position, and Petrov seems to be pulling all the strings for them right now. Maybe it's just me trying to construct a scenario that still sends QPR down!
bolton have blown there chances, dont deserve to stay up cant win at home, stoke can climb 3-4 places with a win, bringing in 2-3m more cash and pullis needs a win, or he could be on his way out

Pulis could be on his way out? Really? I don't see that at all, whatever the result this weekend. I'm not sure I agree that Bolton don't deserve to stay up either. For what it's worth, I was expecting them to do a lot better this season and - as with QPR - expect them to be a lot better next season if they do survive.
Pulis won't be sacked whatever happens come Saturday. their aim is to stay in the division, which they have done quite comfortably. I think Bolton will win, as someone else said, they cannot win at home, but away they are a different proposition. Coyle is a nice guy and I would much prefer them to stay up ahead of Sparkles and Zamora.
Blimey, Bandit, you and I are in complete agreement! Has that ever happened before? I mean, we've partially agreed on lots of things, but I can't quibble about so much as a comma in this one. Hang on a minute... 'Sparkles'? Nah, I don't like that. Phew, I feel much better now.
I actually thought you were referring to last Sunday, happy, and had forgotten the clocks had gone forward. Cos, surely that was the time for Pulis to put his oar in with Hughes and QPR. Bolton, to a degree, have put aside that horrible cup semi by beating Stoke 5-0 at home earlier this year - although Pulis still narks on about Howard Webb allowing the opening goal, which he says "made all the difference" ! So the outcome this weekend is simply dependent on who is up for it most. Stoke will play as they always do, especially at the Britannia, and Bolton are so vulnerable at the back. Coyle's passion seems to have overwhelmed some of his players this year; not helped by a very difficult fixture start. However, they'll obviously be up for this one and with Davies back in favour and driving them on who knows. Can but hope. Unfortunately, as the Captain says, if they survive QPR will be stronger next season.
