    LCFC fan in peace,

I live in the old town in the student accommodation there down by Vodka Revs. I was just wondering where me and a few of the lads will be able to drink for the coming match with you. i usually frequent barracuda on LC televised match days, however i'm worried what with the managerial changes offence may be caused if i have my shirt on show. I'd also like to have a few pints a little closer to the ground :) there's quite a large group of us...

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance for the help

Should the Silver Cod not be your cup of tea check out Fuel. Don't know what it is with that lot but they're all so bloody cheerful.

I can't see the manager thing changing much about your day out.

I'd say you'd be fine most places provided you show the usual respect as a visitor. I'd guess most out of town away fans will be directed to Walton Club or Brickies and Baracuda will be business as usual.

I remember when we went to Leicester just after we got Peter Taylor. The Leicester warriors were warning to expect a day out in hell. It must have been one of the quietest days out of the time.:laugh:

Go down to the cafe bars on Princes Avenue - pretty welcoming for away fans even those from L**ds.

On a serious note does the Tigers Lair still let away fans in? Haven't been in there for years, used to do great pie and chips and have the midday kick-offs on big screen!

Agree with this, and don't forget to proudly display your colours.

And after the game you may like to go back into the town centre where Propaganda on Ferensway (opposite the station) accomodate away fans.

Walton Club or Brickies mate, met a couple of mates from Uni who were Forest fans in Walton Club last season and there was a good mix of home and away fans in there with good banter but a good atmosphere maintained.

These cheeky chappies are obviously taking the piss, which you probably knew. We don't want rivers of blood flowing down Anlaby Road. But coming back to earth......don't think there will be any fan trouble just lots of piss take.

Walton Club or Brickies will suit.

If your mates are staying at a hotel and you do decide to go the Cod, you might want to tell them to bring the small sewing kit from the bedside draw, just in case. <ok>

    LCFC fan in peace,

If you go to Silver Cod you'll end up as a LCFC fan in pieces.

Would recommend Brickmakers Arms on Walton Street. Seen plenty of away supporters drinking in peace there.

Ignore these buffoons, get youself to the silver cod and tell the whole Leicester travelling support to get there too, I'll spread the word around here too (I'm from Leicester).

At the end of the day, the less away fans there are the less noise they make, which is better for us <ok>

Probably not. Just driven by the place. It clearly states ' a warm welcome' just under the name.

What more proof could one possibly need ?

There aren't any nice pubs in Burnley, what ever you're wearing.
