His best days were in 2 decades. Also, I don't think billiards was an international game in the sense of representing one's country. I could be wrong on that aspect, and if so gives me a source for future questions!
Nice idea. Jacklin played international golf in 60's 70's and 80's. But then in 2003 he was captain (& played) for 'The rest of the world' against the USA in the UBS cup. so, technically just about correct except... The UBS rules stipulated that 50% of each team had to be over 50, it's a bit of a contrivance, and I don't think the UBS Cup quite qualifies as an international tournament. It's not golf. Closer to home.
Absolutely - thought a Yorkshireman would get it. 1899 to 1930. In passing, DB close (1949 - 1976) is pretty amazing for post war. Over to you
