You're not miles away Andy - it is a mole ! It is apparently able to reuse oxygen which enables it to spend so much time in cramped/gassy.. nest conditions underground. Not to be confused with the mole rat which is also a fascinating animal - apparently the only mammal immune to cancer. Over to you.

Brilliant, Cologne, really enjoyed that. I was waiting for a negative so I could jump in with sperm whale. <laugh>

OK, trying to keep things high-brow, what sort of biscuit is Barry from Watford partial to, and to what lengths does he go to get it?

Was this the spoof phone call to a radio station about minty biscuits?

Not the foggiest. I just remembered hearing or reading something about some joker taking over a phone in who claimed to come from Watford. Been more likely if he came from Reading.

As I was born in Watford, in theory I could refer to myself and be right. Having said that, the only biscuits I tend to eat now are ones brought into the office by my colleagues.

OK, ofh was closest. The full answer was he used his wife's blue badge to buy his Viscounts. You can listen to it here:

Alex Lowe is the very talented mischief maker. Iain Lee is funny too, I listen to him on the way to work sometimes on 3CR.

    Over to you, ofh. :)

Didn't think I was that close, but here goes.
Name the journalist who began his writing career on the Rotherham Advertiser, and has worked on the Rochdale Observer, Wolverhampton Express and Lincolnshire Life as well as national papers.

Forgot it was almost on your doorstep Yorkie. He does actually describe himself as a journalist, although I expect more would think of him for his TV work.

    It is all yours! :emoticon-0100-smile

    One for the oldies....

4th of September 1965 saw a 'double first' for one Watford player. Who was he and what were his achievements?
