Anyone going to be getting either of these consoles when they come out? Most people seem to be going for the PS4 as both consoles are the same but the X1 will cost you £140 more. Nope going to stick to the PC/Laptop/Tablet got better things to do than veg in front of mindless consol games The Sags might buy a load of them afterall they are already mindless so they wouldn't notice any difference - Cousin phoned this morning again couple of his mates phoned saying after playing their footie games BRFC should have won as they always win when playing at AG you know thanks to the benefit of the football manager editor when they have Messi in the Barcelona of the North (of Bristol that is) He did ask why they are still in Div 4 with Messi playing but he hasn't got an answer yet except its all the fault of the managers proir to them.
Neither for me, think they are wreaking kids youths by not going out on bikes and plaing footie etc. Just my opinion in my youth i used ti be able to dismantle and reasemble a push bike by the time i got to my teens, a lot if kids these days cant fix a puncture.
But they do know how to nick the fuses from the freezer to replace to one in their xbox/ps3 when it goes.
Ps4 for me too never owned a playstation always had segas then the xboxes but the new one is a turn off for me, so ps4 this time
I followed both consoles from the start, and Microsoft were more than happy to run XBone into the ground, mainly with the pricing, the mandatory Kinect camera (while the NSA spying scandal broke, and Microsoft's involvement in leaks), and the restriction on lending games. They've done a U-turn, but knowing Microsoft, they'll reinstate it a year later once everyone has bought their console. It'll be PS4 for me, without a shadow of a doubt. However, I reckon the Xbone will still be the most popular console over here, purely because of the FIFA 14 deal, and because the average gamer doesn't really give a **** about the quality of a console or manufacturer as long as it's new and they can play CoD on it.
Has anyone seen the price for the games on the new consoles? £55 for fifa! and almost £100 for COD ****ing madness. (for the people who don't know you used to be able to get the above games for £30-£40)
I've had every console from both, PS1 PS2 PS3. XBOX, XBOX 360 but this time im sticking with the play station, Features look so much better, Controller looks quality with the touchpad on it also Think i'll get the £500 bundle that GAME are doing, PS4 and COD Ghost special edition
I will get my console from work the boss is a gamer too and says will sort us out some vouchers for it
Nothing against them, just saw my kids become un sociable by it, and it's my fault for allowing it to happen. I did have them all upto the X-Box and Ps2, liked the Wii when they first came out and will probably end up with one again in the future. Just found they took over too much. And you young uns could easily beat me Shame they didn't teach you to respect your elders, you fanny hater.
Get practising on it then ROD, Buy the ps4 and I can play you at fifa . Have to admit I don't play it as much as I used to because its a bit boring and sad but I enjoy the odd hour now and again !
