Ron, i trust as you are our moderator that you will ensure we quickly move away from the ghosttown that is the League 2 forum and our well deserved place is League 1 is taken. Hopefully the added banter with some of our old friends in League 1 will encourage the board to be a bit more active and ColU Mike can happily WUM the league 2 board for many years to come (until they slip into the conference anyway)

That's what we were singing after losing the play off final against Southend (on penalties). We were in League 1 until 20 seconds from the end of extra time; but it was a blessing
Apparently there are a surprising amount of "big names" in this league now. Don't know how us little people are going to fair against that history. Apart from the fact that in most cases it is history rather than present. Promotion obviously depends this season on the size of your trophy cabinet or even if you have one in the first place. That's us fecked then. We must be vying for spot 12 as the others are apparently already nailed on by the biggies.
There may be bigger clubs but everyone starts with no points so we're all equal even big clubs get relegated so there are no guarantees any club will romp it only in the premiership where €itys millions do that.
What amazes me is how every team seems to have a god given right to be in a higher division than they are in. Just because of their history you had Lampard & Terry saying the same thing yesterday.
It's swings and roundabouts all clubs go through cycles where they have a period in their history where they are punching above their weight. I remember going to away games at Hull wigan Brighton Birmingham and even man city a few years back watching little old wycombe wanderers they were all struggling teams but times have changed for them and they have all had decent runs in higher divisions but it doesn't last forever. No one has a given right to be in any division you have to earn that with hard work and a good management set up and players who stick together as a team.
I'm only allowed 6 pints a week now but not all on the same day I had a stroke a few weeks ago so have to do as the docs tell me, i'm telling you this so you understand why i'm posting more bollox than usual as my thought process has gone tp pieces,it reminds me of when i was getting peed up on Somerset cider
Just really tired Ron but my eyesight is back to how it was which is great news as i read 4/5 hours a day,no smoking or salt is a bitch though Still i'll have a few beers on Sunday afternoon (Only 3) so it's not all bad
