Don't know whether city do this anyway, but one thing the rugby teams do is that they offer the local youth teams (under 10's etc.) tickets to come and watch the game with their whole team. They also let the ittle lads run around and play a game of touch rugby at half time (which i doubt we could do anyway but you get the idea). Its just the little things that get the young lads into the local teams, rather than the teams that are on sky winning every week.
One sport, one city? Are you saying they are not promoting rugby league? Also do you seriously believe HKR will have paid for that ad then direct all ticket sales to Hull FC';s ticket office? It is a clever ad, as have been all the ad's recently for the rugby which hint at the rift at City. Proud to be local 100% Hull Hull and Proud One sport, one city. The RL clubs are thumping the 'local and proud' drum. We are distancing ourselves from the city we represent and our heritage. I would sooner we went the RL way.
There are loads of adults in this city wearing Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea, and other clubs shirts who have won the Prem in recent years who have also never seen those teams live. SKY or streaming from home doesn't count.
I think you're missing the point a little, I was just suggesting we should poach Rovers marketing bloke, as their promotional activity and engagement with the community is in a different league to ours. I don't do the anti-rugby stuff, I have no interest in rugby at all.
They still need to work at the young kids If not many will be lost to glory hunting or pushed by their sad top 4 supporting parents
Rovers have a sponsorship agreement with Archbishop Sentimu School and for their opening fixture GAVE the school ALL the tickets for the South terraces
No its the same every year against Le Cats and it was when they played HKR last week they never have had and never will have any travelling support bar a handful of UK based fans Can you substantiate your claim that 4,000 free tickets were given away ?
Prices of tickets should be within reason for City's clientelle. £50 a match is definitely too far for the people of Hull. More should be made of that.
v Leeds Rhino's? The game the HDM and Radio Rugby were bigging up in the week leading up to it about a 'record crowd'?
that's what you call brilliant marketing what was ours before christmas home v leicester home v everton etc this so called premier league club.. is pathetically bad at pr..
So you cant substantiate your claim then ? Just telling me to go and look into it doesn't cut it.Wheres your info from ? where do I go to look into it ?
