Progress under LR

I did have a whole spiel about Ebiowei’s qualities (or lack of) but deleted it.

Despite how crap he was, it was still the more positive ball. Have it on the wing in the Bristol half with a one on one opportunity or have it with Jones 10 yards outside our box. Mentality on this definitely seems to have changed. You can also add in how many times Greaves went to Philogene or over the top for Delap in the Birmingham game.

 

Our tempo from the back has improved since Allsop has been in goal, the ball he played through to Seri who then slotted through for Jaden just before HT was a joy to watch.

Yep, defo progress made.
But now let's see us getting into the habit of scoring a few goals that are not gifted mistakes (albeit it well taken) or Philogene / ano individual brilliance (especially as it looks like Philogene's out anyway). And then some of us might be finally convinced. Not too much to ask by now is it?

 

Not too much to ask, and certainly what we all hope, but IMHO it is too much to expect by right simply due to the passing of time.
