He probably feels a bit hard done by. He sees other players around him who, no matter their recent performances, get to start the following week and yet if he is given a chance and doesn't have an outstanding game then he's straight back in the reserves again. I don't know how you can expect to get the best out of people when you don't treat everyone equally. It seems like some can do no wrong and others don't get a fair chance.
Exactly, Unfortunately in every level of football be it amateur youths on a Saturday morning or Professional on a Saturday afternoon the manager is always going to have "favourites"..!
