I must make every effort to get up to Suffolk, I rang the ITFC supporters line, and they said they would help me find a seat for a recently disabled supporter.

This is proving to be the most exciting & enjoyable era!

Really good 1st half and could or maybe should have got more goals at the end of the half when Preston were all over the place. Completely different 2nd half as we couldn’t string passes together but the players dug in and eventually got the 4th and with it the win (& calmed my nerves). 2 week break now and then we go again. 1 more thing about today, in the build up to the 2nd goal, Burns was clearly elbowed off the ball - can’t blame the ref as he was watching Williams break forward but surely there can be retrospective action taken, providing it is caught on camera

Watching the highlights makes for great viewing. The spectacular Chaplin goal will take much of the attention but I couldn't help noticing the fourth goal resulted from a move involving all five subs.Whoever gets game time seems motivated to make the most of their opportunities and KMc seems to have them working as mini teams within teams.

I was thinking majority of goals we score now probably would've got goal of the season in years gone by

This team is ridiculous...soo good, its hard to put into words how perfect 2023 has been so far.

Special praise for Hirst, whilst he hasn't scored too much the work he put in and the selflessness he shows for the team, I don't really think I've ever said this about a striker but I couldn't care if he scores another goal as long as he keeps playing how he has

Apparently we have scored 2 or more goals in the last 17 home games. That is an unbelievable stat and long may it continue

A great game to watch from a packed, noisy,North Stand, and scoring 3 first half goals stood us in good stead when we came under pressure for the first 20 minutes of the second half when PNE threw everything at us, but we scored 4 terrific goals and Williams was outstanding throughout the match and on this form i cant see Clarke getting back into the starting XI.
Our defence looked a bit suspect at times especially for their first goal with Burgess seeming to lose his bearings but im being picky, after all we scored 4 goals against a good side currently just 1 place behind us in the table in front of over 29000 fans, happy days so far.
