Don't know why but I'm looking forward much more to this Championship season than I did last years Premiership season. I'm starting to think a season in the Championship might in the long term do the club more good than harm assuming of course we can get promoted.

If I'm being completely honest I'm not, and I actually found it quite depressing following the championship scores yesterday, knowing the Premier League doesn't start until next week.

I'd much rather be in the Premier League, but the Championship can provide some really good entertaining football. I'm looking forward to this season as I was with last season, I just hope we will do well.

First time in 3 years I paid attention to the Championship scores and first time I watched a game in that league for ages, it was quite depressing thinking we're back here again.

While I would prefer to be in the premier league (top of it and winning the champions league as well) I can't wait for this season to begin. Hell, I nearly crash the car watching parks football.

There's just nothing to cheer for in the Prem unless you're part of the top 4/6. I like the Championship because it's genuinely exciting and any team could be at the top or bottom. I'd much rather that than knowing the top 6-8 and just seeing who of the 12 or so others will go down. But then I also hate the money in football and think that it's ruined the game some what and fully expect the Prem to collapse under it's own inflated prices and egos in the not too distant future.

Having said that, I'm glad we got to the Prem, sorted our finances and improved our team, but I wasn't sad to see it go, just disappointed at the manner we dropped out.

It`s not just sour grapes but the big players and big teams get all the decisions and the little teams like ours are supposed to just turn up and get pumped week after week, watching your side lose constantly is neither exciting or entertaining.
Hughton read the script last season and it seemed he was expecting to tamely drift into the Championship, praising other teams and managers constantly became painful viewing.
It is ALL about money in the Prem, genuinely nobody could predict the top four in the Championship and this makes it exciting .
The biggest drawback is if you can`t make it to the game you have about 20 seconds of coverage a week .

I can understand the sentiment, but a season struggling in the Premier League and only just hanging on by the skin of our teeth, is still to my mind, genuinely more praiseworthy and a bigger achievement than getting promoted from the Championship. That said, we are much more likely to have the successful results and have more success with enterprising, attacking football, that most people want to see, down in the Champ, than we ever will in the Premier League. But having once tasted the Prem, it´s hard not to miss it when it arrives, so give me a struggling (but ultimately successful) season there, anytime, over a promotion chasing one down here, whether successful or not.

I would just add, that it´s naturally never very nice getting walloped several times a season in the Prem. but once you´ve honed yourself to the fact that it is likely to happen against the top sides, and concentrate on winning the games that you have to win, life up there can be more than bearable. Conversely it´s quite possible we will be giving one or two a thumping this year, but that won´t help us at all if we don´t win the games we have to win against the other sides going for promotion.

I absolutely despise this league, I feel like scalping fellow Norwich fans when they say 'Oh I prefer the Championship it's a better league',

that wont happen, i think we will go up again, but IF the unthinkable happened and we did go down,we would still have a full ground,as we did before in div 1. you lot can only half fill your ground in the championship

If only they could win the Euro millions.

At least Evans could get about 5% of his investment back.
