http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winner Chelsea 15/8 and Man City 7/4 joint favourites. Man Utd 11/2 above Liverpool 8, makes sense. Arsenal 9, bottlers, not rated by bookies Tottenham 61.
Weren't you guys 66-1 or something last season. If Suarez leaves you'll get better than 9s, I'd wait Luv
Still got to plump for City as favourites but I expect great things from United who will enjoy the massive benefits that Liverpool enjoyed last season in addition to having a shrewd gaffer. We'll be challenging for sure and as always Arsenal will be about for the most part. I expect Liverpool to suffer and drop out of the top four. One of the major strengths they showed last season was an unbelievably energetic start in matches and I don't expect that to be anywhere near as fervent when you throw intense Champions League matches as an extra at them. This will be a whole new experience for many of their squad and something has got to give. Spurs, Liverpool & Everton to fight out Europa cup spots.
Because odds are dictated by how many people bet on the teams in question rather than the sensible way of, you know, actually looking at each team and seeing how good they are Hence why Liverpool have had short odds on the PL for years, despite, until last season, being decisively pony. The bookies obviously had a splurge of people betting the farm on Chelsea or City.
I agree - as insurance at least. Still they think need a top centre half and CM to actually win it but they'll get top 3/4 imo.
Exactly C P! I don't place bets on football games, but if I did, I'd want to know the quality of the field, before the off!
Well United are at 11/2, if they go and sign someone like Vidal those odds will change and people will get a ****ter price.
They aren't set, they will change with each transfer, injury and the punters' response to Suarez leaving, say... United look a good bet, think they will be third minimum next season ahead of pool and arsenal
