I bet the atmosphere and plastic brigade is even worse at the top clubs. It's bad enough at St Marys ffs.

 

Isn't it pretty much dead everywhere?

The only lads who seem to enjoy it are away supporters.

 

Better in the lower leagues imo.

Again that's why I'm mainly doing aways this year, much more fun.

Been to Palace, Stoke, Brighton and Bournemouth so far, hoping to do Fulham in the Cup and then Everton and Newcastle at least next year... only seen us win once mind but it's a good crack

 

What date is that happening?

 

It's set for 10th March at the moment but don't know if it will be moved.

I'm not 100% if I can make it yet because I'm planning on staying up there if I do. Got some big expenses coming up in the new year too and with them, Swansea and West Ham away all in March if money is too tight I'll probably do West Ham instead.

 

Nor me, I've a feeling I'll be in Bob Marley country then.

 

If I'm going I'll get in touch nearer the time fella and we'll meet for a beer or two

I'll take you away from the town centre for a pint, mate. You wouldn't want to be seen with me around there on match day.

 

Yes. Still very much enjoy the social aspect of going to footie seeing old faces etc. I still live near the Bridge and go to matches with same mates for 30 years, we all live near the ground, so we maintain a deep connection with the area, etc.

You don't get that connection through a television set 200 miles away.
