Stumbled upon a Hunnish forum and it would seem that Rangers' troubles are behind them and there is a cackle of mega rich buyers circling the club waiting for their chance to swoop and purchase this fine institution. They range from a cigarette magnate to a couple of reclusive sisters who's deceased father was a hugh Rangers fan. I kid you not but I read one particular post warning not just Scottish football but European football better watch out as Gers were coming back. All this on the day their players had to take massive pay cuts to stop the club going down the drain. What am I missing?
Some of them are almost ecstatic today simply because their club has had a temporary reprieve. What do they think is going to happen in the summer? Also, if players like Elbows and Healy are out of contract in the summer why keep them and pay them when they have **** all to player for? Very strange.
The best web site is Celtic quick news , today's good news was laughed at by Paul67 who has got everything right over the years regarding Rangers finances.
The administrators were put in place by Whyte...hurriedly so as HMRC wanted to place their own men in Why do this? Arnt all administrators the same? Why on one hand look like you are cutting costs whilst on the other you are wasting money (elbows as was mentioned) and attempting to waste money (cousin) Out of contract players are not sellable assets Why let the club run money down in this manner only to try and save wages via breaking the contracts of your most valuable assets, who can walk away for nothing? Who benefits from this? Well who rushed to get these guys in place? Craig Whyte Why run the club into insolvency if you are Craig Whyte? Either so you can buy the club on the cheap, free of debt whilst also being the main creditor and already owning ibrox Or You're a Timmy Spy Why piss off your sellable assets if you're on the rescue though? Does he plan to own rangers, he knows the administration team so they'd accept a bid, and start in Div 3 or The SPL as diet rangers Then again, his money came from the Republic...
I have that in Talking Book format, Love Partridge but having seen Steve Coogan on Question Time a few weeks ago I suddenly realised he is a complete and utter cock of a man.
I read that his family and friends laughed at him when he told them his ambition was to be a comedian.....but they're not laughing now. <boom boom> Sorry - coudn't resist that ,,,,,and it is Friday after all.
"Nearly everybody or everybody's agreed to wage cuts. There'll be another announcement next week" That's my betting - not really a big announcement just an announcement that there will be another announcement.
