Following my soothsaying prowess against Newcastle (at least my prediction of a 3-0 win got the right number of goals in it!), I'm going for a 2-0 win, although like others I'd settle for a grubby 1-0 with the winner ricocheting around the box before dribbling over the line off the referee's backside. If Zamora is still out, I'll take Sa to score. I'd love to see Ruiz get off to a flyer, but my completely ill-informed hunch is he may take a few games to settle.
Be nice if the new guys did start in a blaze of glory. But like you, I think it will take time for them to settle in as we have a bit of a stop start with Internationals and Europa games, meaning Jol might not be able to get a consistent lineup until mid November. I'll just say we need a victory to take the pressure off. 1-0. or a Blaze of Glory start 3-1. To stay in the Premier you need your home form to be good and win the majority of games, so lets start against Blackburn.
