Great game. Unless you've travelled 250 miles from Cleveland that is! New signings looked hungry and Town even kept going at 3-0 up. However, Dyer was ineffectual, Emnes had a terrible game (he only got the ball when he was 'fouled' or rather fell over), Leadboots was... well, Leadboots was there. Not sure we'd have done that against Cardiff or Brighton, but either Boro were ****e or we made them look ****e. McLean's goal (the second goal - I think it was McLean's goal) was superb. An absolute belter. And Wordsworth very nearly scored a peach towards the end. Just over the bar. Two things I heard from the SBR today which made me chuckle: "We want more" (at 4-0 up!) and "There's only one Terry Connor" When was the last time you heard the crowd at Portman Road chant "we want more"?!!! Great day out for all the family. Well done Town.
