Kicking off with a resounding victory against Indonesia in our first pre season game, a very good start and several youngsters got a run out and had good contributions to make. Next we go to Vietnam to and then on to play two games in Japan against Nagoya Grampus and Urawa Red Diamonds in what will be a nostalgic trip for Wenger who used to manage in the J-League. Then we have the Emirates cup and three decent teams to test ourselves against. Napoli, Galatasary and Man City. Hopefully we'll have added a couple of quality players along the way too and of course it's a good chance to see who might make the step up to the first team this season.
7-1 victory in Vietnam today and a great first half hat-trick from Giroud, also a sweet strike from the Ox and a brace for Akpom. All in all a good game and another decent run out for the Gunners. Off to Japan now for some quality opposition. Will Giroud's good form mean that Wenger won't buy a striker this summer (deliberate **** stirring )
Lol @ Vietnam's goal, he actually miskicked it, but the way it happened, made it look like the most skilful touch.
"Will Giroud's good form mean that Wenger won't buy a striker this summer (deliberate **** stirring )" I don't know, there is part of me thinking that Giroud/Podolski/Sonogo/Walcott can't all fail, and if we get a shot at a 70M box-box midfielder let's blow the whole lot on him.
whay americans so facking lazy , you go to an american steakhouse and on the menu is steak bites galore. They are too lazy to even cut the fuckin steak themselves. Get it served to the table in gob sized chunks .
For somebody who was regularly going to watch Arsenal in the seventies, I would have thought you would have picked up on that reference straight away ? Were you in a coma during that period ?
That one went to extra time, penalties and a replay and the yanks still couldn't pull their fingers out of their arses
