Richard Kone scored a fine solo goal in a 2-2 draw with Colchester United in a practice match of two hour-long halves at Harlington on Saturday afternoon. Wanderers fielded different sides in each half and led after the first hour through an own goal from Beryly Lubala's cross, but the visitors netted twice in the second hour through Bradley Ihionvien and Matt Jay. Kone then displayed excellent footwork in the Us' box before lifting the ball home to ensure it finished all-square after 120 minutes. Wycombe - who had the better of the chances throughout - will play their first public friendly against Watford at Adams Park on Tuesday 30th July (k.o. 7.30pm). First half XI: Bishop, Grimmer, Harvie, Low, Hartridge, Bakinson, Ward, Butcher, McCleary, Lubala, Udoh. Second half XI: Ravizzoli, Pattenden, McCarthy (Woodhouse 90), Skura, Tafazolli, Scowen, Leahy, Wheeler, Sadlier, Bartolo, Kone.

Yeah I watched it. We looked good all over the pitch. New signings look awesome, very optimistic for the season now.
Kone looks a real threat up front. Pace and power with an eye for goal. Watch this pace, easily 20-25 goals this season.
