Has anybody else got a pre-match ritual more extreme than this? Fitz Hall FITZ Hall has revealed an amazing pre-match ritual where he deliberately makes himself sick. The QPR centre back is hoping to get a recall for Sundayâs massive clash with Manchester United after injury to Anton Ferdinand at Liverpool last Saturday â and is hoping he might feature in plans beyond that. The 30-year-old has struggled with hamstring injuries this season, and was down and out after just nine minutes in the 3-1 defeat to Spurs in October. But he is now looking for a recall to this one, as well as giving the likes of Ferdinand, Danny Gabbidon and anyone else in the future a run for their money. That is after he has pebble-dashed the inside of a toilet bowl prior to kick-off. âI like to be sick before a game,â he said. âI do not feel right unless I am sick. It is nothing major I just have a drink and sick it back up that is all. âAs for new players, this is the business weâre in. âI got bought to take someoneâs job and I had competition to get into the team so I am sure whoever comes in January will have a tough time getting past me and the rest of the defenders. âI am back to full fitness now after the problems with my hamstring and I am making a strong comeback. There is a lot of competition in the team so I am not going to get straight back into the starting line up but I am going to fight for my place all the way.â Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest QPR news. Daft thing to do. My prematch ritual now is to wear my whole wardrobe to matches! Finsihed off with The Shirt, of course.
I like to sit on the A3 for hours before each game followed by finding somewhere to park within 5 miles of the ground. I do it every home match so it must be classed as a ritual. I'd prefer my ritual to involve a virgin, black candles and a chicken's claw but I'm usually pushed for time in the morning of a match.
