I think special mention has to go to Neil Warnock for getting the team to play like it did after such a short time together. A few posts ago few of us expected to see Derry, Faurlin and Barton in the same side, and yet it worked very well. Great to see Adel putting in such a mature performance with moments of genius. Also heard him say in post match interview that he expects SWP to score a few, I do as well, and very clever easing the pressure on Bothroyd.
Good shout Peruvian, I think Adel & Joey will have a special relationship. Adel will learn a lot from Barton, and will only go on to get better. I think Barton will realise Adels talent, and along with Warnock will help nourish it.
Adel was incredible at times tonight, absolutely unplayable and to think some were worried he couldn't hack it at this level. Haven't seen as good football from Rangers since the '90's. What a fantastic midfield, what unbelievably good players, great skills in our best tradition. Couldn't care about the result, first half was utter magic in moments.
