Is it me or has P&G taken a down turn this season. MS is a bit flat as the new host and his knowledge of Stoke is lacking. JA sounds bored covering Vale, the upbeat manerism has gone from his voice. BBC Stoke have made in my opinion a big mistake R
Its always been absolute ****e!!!!!. Only listened to it a couple of times and ive never heard such rubbish.
sorry i disagree ricc, but i get the chance to listen to a lot of local radio football phone in's and P&G over the last four years has been miles ahead of the ones i've heard. Now however, it would appear that due to changes it has joined the rest of the mediocre stations. R
thats fair enough mate, like I said I have only listened to it a few times and it just frustrated me.
My only problem with P&G is that many fans who do comment on there. NEVER go to the games... frustates me and I only listen because I'm usually driving home after the home games. Would prefer to listen to Denis Smith, Nigel Gleghorn any day of the week. If you don't like it don't listen.. for the record. I ALWAYS turn off when Dario Gradi is interviewed.
I must admit listening to the commentary in the week it annoyed me that some bloke I'd never heard before was commenting on the Thun game, and it didn't seem as good a commentary. It always annoys me with P&G when we have played a side like Chelsea away from home, lost and all the TP haters ring in and just say 'TP out we can't compete with these teams'. I've been getting annoyed with it for a while, fair enough if we lose to Norwich ring in but when we lose to the top teams why can't people just use their brains!!!!! Sorry, rant over!!!!!!
