The only power shift is the sp*ds moving away.

Hallelujah! It was never going to be more than an annoying blip and they will be back in our shadow soon enough.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

  5. So far our form is good though of the four consecutive wins in the EPL thus far, we have been quite reliant on RvP in 3 of them. Sadly for us, Spuds have for too which has kept them above us. We just need to hope that we hold our form while they lose theirs...

Not wishing to take anything away from spurs but we hear this every year.

Oh and hope Harry gets well soon

  7. Yes Theo but every year they are usually behind us at most stages. This year though they have form ( 7 wins in a row and have beaten us in 2 of our last 3 EPL meetings ), three more points in the bag and one game in hand. I'd be more comfortable when we are ahead of both them, Pool, the Toons and if we didn't have to rely so much on RvP to capture that winning feeling ;)

No question Tottenham have impressed this season but can they get through the Jan window without being de-stabilised by the chequebook clubs ?
Modric's love of cash hasn't disappeared and whilst Bale appears more loyal if someone comes in with a stupid offer they'd have to consider it.
When you get good you have to deal with these things....

  9. Well Harry has made Modric stay so far while we lost both Fabregas and Nasri. We'll just have to see what happens in January and in the final three months of the season. There was a time when we gained during this period. For too long now, it is also the time of year when by the end of February we tend to go backwards..... :(

Currently both Spurs and us have form. It's a case of whose stays out there longer. On that front we have by far the better record and I would like to think that this will continue despite our shaky start.

Or maybe both Arsenal and Tottenham can make CL with Cheslea missing out ?
I'd happily finish 4th behind Tottenham...

We will grab top 4 i'm very confident of that - No idea who will miss out though.

I'm tempted to say the top 4 in no particular order will be Utd, City, Arsenal, Chelsea. But spurs i think are in with a shout if they are able to kee up there form - i have a feeling they won't though.

After the next few games the league will be looking very tight at the top between 3rd and 7th.

I think most people agree now though that Liverpool are gonna drop from the running for 4th and Newcastle won't maintain there form.
