Well what do you say to that? TBH I don't know.

We hardly got the pasting many are saying in my opinion. The amount of time we had in their box with/without shooting was unbelievable.

I hate to say it, but we really need a decent striker. Best's goal was a beauty. Lover had an absolutely horrific game for me. And does anyone know what was supposed to be wrong with our disallowed goal? I watched the replay twice and I certainly can't see anyhting wrong. If that was called offside...

Jonas had the living daylights kicked out of him!

On the brighter side, Shane looked good for the short time, some nice crosses. Expect he will be an asset in the furture. Ameobi caused some merry hell for the opposition as well and Harps played a blinder, as always.

Really do feel we could have won this game. Never mind though. Lets see how the next few go. I just pray Jonas is OK!

We just need to make the most of our opportunities. And why Lover made the pass when he was completely open is totally beyond me.

Anyway, we still have games and there is still plenty of hope for a decent top-half finnish.

    Cheers lads

We tried but just weren't good enough, i think our efforts deserved a goal but then again Everton had so many guilt edge chances that they could have won 5/6-1

I didn't catch any of it as I was house hunting.

A top 10 finish is still way and above my thoughts at the start of the season so I'm not to down about the result.

I wouldn't of minded so much as i expected Everton to up their game since the defeat in the FA Cup, but with West Ham winning again it really has opened it all up again, and now everyone from us to the bottom will be trying to put in resilient performances to try and get out of that relegation scrap

I agree. It wasn't a terrible performance the Toffees just took more of their chances than we did. But you are right we created alot of half chances in and around the area. Also worth noting that most of Everton's chances were on the break when we were pressing forward trying to get an equaliser. Overall I think we had more quality possession than they did.

Frustrating result but not a disaster. Still think we will be okay for top half finish.

My thoughts exactly, you can't have highs without lows is my theory.
