Contents [hide] 1 Career 1.1 AFC Ajax 2 Arsenal 3 Statistics 4 Honours 4.1 Club 4.2 Individual 5 References 6 External links [edit]Career [edit]AFC Ajax Boilesen started playing football in local amateur clubs in Ballerup and Skovlunde,[1] before joining top-flight club Brøndby IF in 2004.[2] As a left-footed central defender, Boilesen saw Danish senior international and former Brøndby player Daniel Agger as his role-model.[2] Boilesen made his debut for the Denmark national under-17 football team in July 2007, and played a total 38 games for various Danish youth teams in his time at Brøndby.[3] As his Brøndby contract expired in December 2009, Boilesen agreed a move to the Netherlands, with Ajax paying Brøndby 4 million DKK in compensation.[4] Boilesen had already trained with Manchester United and was followed by a number of European clubs, but chose Ajax on advice from fellow Danish youth international and Ajax player Christian Eriksen.[5] He made his professional debut on 3 April 2011, as he played the second half of Ajax' 3–0 victory against Heracles Almelo.[6] [edit]Arsenal It was reported on the 27th of August that Arsenal FC had made a substantial bid of a Twix and a packet of Chilli Heatwave Dorito's in order to secure the services of this player. You see, I don't mind a new thread for transfer rumours, but I fail to see the point of two threads for the same rumour. Couldn't you have copied and pasted from wikipedia in the other thread?
This guy has been injured for almost a year now. Hasn't played a decent game since October last year. I think he managed to injure himself 4 times in a row before getting to full fitness. Which left him out of the Ajax and Danish National team for ten months now.
