although we got beat i think there were some positives no one had a really poor game apart from raylor maybe but he was up against miller and richards.

ben afra was fantastic his footwork was amazing and very unlucky not to score

sammi ameobi really impressed me today he looked confident and link with simmo was decent but has alot to learn and will only get better

we had alot of big players out and i think tiote would have made a big difference today. im confident well get something and manure next week :) HWTL

I'd Mark this down as a good result, 2 penaltys was the difference really and we had some poor finishing, I'd didn't catch the game but from what I've heard about those pens was that one was schoolboy error and the other a bit tame, ba should have put some chances away, the score line is not bad considering we wer away to city look at there team we on paper should have been steamrollered by them, the lads can take this on and hopefully put in some fight for the next 2 games

This clearly means that we > Man U as we only lost 3-1 away to Citeh, while Man U got hammered 6-1 at home!

Positives were Sammy, Ben Arfa and Gosling. No one's to blame, just City are unstoppable right now. Raylor made 2 silly errors though, Santon could well take his place for Man U.

Sammy was class. He's the sort of player that looks as though he's going to trip himself up when he gets the ball. And considering it was away at Man City, he couldn't be blamed for letting the occasion get to him. But he's got a great touch, has brilliant pace and was playing with confidence today. A great prospect.

Doubt Pards will do the dirty on Raylor after his contribution so far this season ... More likely an arm around the shoulder and chin up for the next game ...
