At first I was going to leave this blank but believe it or not I think we can take something from the game.

    1. We got a point which we didn't deserve.

    2. If we had played better and done them as we did West Ham there would be a strong temptation to leave the squad as it is thinking we don't really need anyone brought in. The poor all round display last night showed that we really do need a bit of strengthening.

    3. Er...that's it!

Not sure how you reckon we didn't deserve the point mate? we defended well and Mig only had one real effort to save, granted their keepers gloves were nice and clean when he came off as well so for me a point for both was about right.
Agree about the West Ham bit, why do we not go at teams from the off?

Bramble played well. I thought Sess was bright but let down badly by the dire Larsson and Johnson.

Bramble MOM and may have earned himself a year contract? Defence solid but desperately lacking pace in centre midfield. Thought N'daiyai (bo110cks the French lad) did ok and once fit and up to speed looks like he could be a cracking signing. Missed Rose attacking from left back and as we all know the support up front for Fletcher was borderline embarrasing. It has been said but when we play with pace we look blo0dy good. When we slow it down we look poor with no movement at all. Swansea showed us how to pass and move. Vaughan was disappointing last night and just didnt look like a premiership player. Saying that he was surrounded by mediocrity last night. Just a bad day at the office so all in all a good point.

Swansea were a very good team. The keep possession very well. They defend well (they have the best defence in the league) first half we seemed she'll shocked and scared to attack. The Swansea right back looked excellent and did very well against Johnson.

However our style of play is so predictable that we are easy to defend against. We never play through th middle unless it is a hopeful punt. We always try to go down the flanks and the full back and wide midfielder have no problems snuffing out our attacks. Bring in the wingers 10 yards letting us marry up the play with cm. Colback didn't overlap last night and Gardner seemed tentative to do it.

I thought we defended well and that we deserved a point as, for all their tippy tappy football, they didn;t really cause us that many problems (except for Graham at the end) - so for me there are a couple of positives

Midfield was piss poor and Fletcher hardly got anything - he won almost every ball chucked to him first half but had no support - at one point he even went over to Johnson as Mig was lining up a goal kick as if to say "get in behind me cos I'm winning everything in the air and no ****er is running off me"

N'Diaye looked woefully short - particularly when compared to the Wigan game - although he wasn't helped by the 2 he was in CM being just as bad and they have played in the PL for a few seasons!!
