I am going and predict (a la Coventry last season) a famous away 1-0 victory with us having one shot on target and our penalty area resembling the Alamo. Johnny Taylor to be the scorer and I don't care about the crowd.

    VIEW FROM THE TRAINING GROUND

Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:
"They've conceded late goals, that's been noted, but they're a good footballing team. They have a bit of pace up front in Tom Bradshaw and Jon Taylor.
"They'll try and play. We watched the games against Carlisle and then against Gillingham, which was a good result for them, their first win in seven I think."We have to make sure we play at the right tempo. We really have to improve our performances on the ball. We've done a lot of work on that on the training ground this week.
"Our results have been great, but I want to see an improvement in our performances."
Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"I'm not surprised where Peterborough are at the moment. They're are a good side, particularly going forward. They've got goalscorers, they've got pace, and they look likely to be in contention at the end of the season. "But after our win against Gillingham last week and the new players we've now got in forward positions, we go there with renewed confidence."There's a strong work ethic about the squad. There's a desperation to be successful.
"The big challenge is for us to match Peterborough and come away with a good result - and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to do that."

I.e They arn't good enough vs we would be happy with a draw

Despite us losing I thought it was a very encouraging performance in many ways. Our defence and midfield looked very solid against a team that has blown many others away in this league and it took a wonder goal to score against us. Mcalister caught the eye as returning to a bit of form but for me Winfield (the first time I have seen him) was our man of the Match. He was very imposing and strong on the ball and a few very clever nudges (which he got away with) put their strikers off. We had a few half chances towards the end but, apart from Taylor's fine late effort, our shooting was absolutely woeful - very tame and very wide of the mark. If we play like that from the back against Colchester and someone finds their shooting boots we should win on Tuesday night.
