yet another game. there only hope now is to accrue enough points to avoid relegation 56? then not worry about playing 3 games a week!

They should be deducted points, their pitch is disgraceful

That's what happens when you got a conference team playing in league 1

.....but if you punish teams like Crawley the FA will be forced to punish the "gas" as well....

I'd still wager that they'll likely finish above us.......

They should just be made to play their games indoors. Fans can get there money back because its taking the piss now. 2 games played in 2014 and both away....

The quality of the pitch should become a factor for Football League membership.
Yes they may finish above City their players will be raring to go when they do actually join in with the rest of the league.
But as sure as eggs are eggs, they will soon get tired with two and three games a week with a small squad. They could well be walking zombies by the time we go there last match!

100%, they just have to win at least 2 games in 7 and there well away from us

we have 14games left, likely best scenario is win 5 draw 4 lose 5 =19 points = 51 pts
assuming they do similar win 6 draw 8 lose 7 = 26 = 57 they draw games as we do

relegation is going to be very tight....

I've just looked at the fixtures - if you count Easter Monday as mid-week then Crawley have a midweek game EVERY WEEK between now and the end of the season.

    So that's 21 games in 71 days!!

Yeah but our budget will be so much larger for ground staff and pitch stuff, hence why our pitch was always one of the better ones even in the championship. They've got enough games in hand though that they should still stay up anyway but the fixtures will be frequent for them when their pitch improves

Yes lets limit the league to teams based on how much money their owner has.

The last month will kill them, they could have10 games to play in 4 weeks, there's no loan option the last month of the season, thev've closed their academy, and have a small squad, the more tired players get, the more prone to injury they are,
It's gonna be a tough end for them, and I have an uneasy feeling we will need to win there, on a pitch with more sand than Blackpool , on the last day, to stay up.

They will probably put their youth team out for the games against the top clubs and keep their best side in good condition for the six pointers!!

If that's the case then expect some big defeats for them.
