jitters... pressure.. and going by past results in the Championship play-offs would you honestly be happy to get at least the 2nd spot? I think you deserve the top spot as its been yours most of the season so please get back on track especially on 16th & 30th March and then on April 9th! <ok>

Thanks for your visit Massive - ulterior motives are usually behind opposition fan's good wishes, and there's nothing wrong with that. <ok>

If truth be known Oh Massive One, you'd admit that, apart from the three games you mention, you rather us lose the bloody lot - "you deserve the top spot" my arse!...........<laugh>

Our destiny is in our own hands, whilst to an extent, yours is not.

Unfortunately, due to the inaction of your owner having absconded and now residing on Tomato Island counting his dosh rather spending some on his club, some would say you are the opposite to us in that you "deserve the bottom spot"....but I wouldn't though would I?

McInnes didn't seem to have a clue how to get the best out of what he had and should have been shown the door earlier - more evidence of owner inaction.

O'Driscoll will give you the best chance possible, but he'd qualify for deification if he pulls you off that trap door before it opens. Any manager needs to be provided with the proper tools of his trade to do the job - unfortunately, it appears O'Driscoll has just inherited a load of tools. <ok>

To be fair sparkey, bristol city's owner has kept them afloat recently by pouring millions into a financial black hole. They are lucky they have a rich fan.

That's my point Arwr mate - they are very lucky, but if you knew the whole story about our respective owners and the things being said on their site about ours, you'd understand my post. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I've been fighting a pretty lone battle over there (and enjoying it) this past few weeks against the **** posted (some of it in jest mind) about our investors, our stadium and our fans. You need to understand the background behind what I posted to Massive before jumping in. <ok>.

Let me tell you, Massive is a very different animal on this thread he's put up to the comments he's made about us across there. I like him though - we have an understanding - I prefer his straight speaking calling a spade a spade far better than some of their weasels who post such uninformed crap.

In the main, they're an OK bunch over there, but a few need to get in tune with commercial life in football today rather than wallow in the past. There are lots good guys as well who want to talk about football and are genuinely concerned about which division they play next season.

For the record, Steve lansdown has picked up their losses personally for many years - last season alone he took a £14M hit. Without him they'd have been sunk without trace (like 1982), but with him around they think they hold the moral high ground over us. Although I've asked, no one can tell me whether Stevie boy is loaning the money to the club to meet the debt, or actually converting it into equity. As he owns 100% of BCFC, the option is entirely his, but just vague posts that they think he's capitalising the loan each year into equity - I wonder?

It's time some of them woke up. Steve is as much, if not more interested in Bristol Rugby Club, and since selling his interests in Hargreaves Lansdown for I think about £300M, he's set himself up on Guernsey and left his son Jon over here to sort out the club.

They were heading for the trap door well before Christmas, and he kept McInnes on when he clearly didn't have a clue how to use the players at his disposal (as poor as they were), then left it too late bringing in SOD expecting him to work miracles. No cash for players to help him out, just a pat on the back and said "Go on boy - you can do it".

Here endeth the first lesson. <laugh> <ok>
