Not long back from the match. Final score was 3-0 to Pompey. Bristol Rovers were the better team in the first half, but we defended well. Ollie Hawkins scored his first goal for Pompey just before half time, in the 42nd minute. In the second half, we played much better, with Brett Pitman scoring yet again in the 77th and the 85th minutes. That takes his seasons total to 8 goals in just 10 matches. The attendance was 17, 716. All in all, a good win for us in quite an entertaining game, in which Bristol Rovers were possibly unlucky to lose by such a margin, but Pompey took their chances well.
Pitman is currently League One's joint top goal scorer, matching Keiffer Moore and Jack Marriot on 8 goals
We cannot put 2 wins together, I cashed out my 6-1 Oldham bet in the hope it would inspire us but no dice.
